About
Snapcast is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to a Snapcast multiroom audio server. It communicates locally with the server and adds media player entities for control from Home Assistant. Setup is done in the UI by entering the host name or IP address and the port of the server. Three actions go beyond basic playback control. One takes a snapshot of what a media player is currently playing, and another restores a snapshot taken earlier. The third sets the latency of a speaker.
