About
Monoprice 6-Zone Amplifier is a built-in integration that controls a Monoprice multi-zone amplifier from Home Assistant. It communicates locally and exposes the amplifier zones as media players. Setup happens in the UI, where a port is chosen and up to six sources can be given names. Source names can be changed later in the options. Two actions are included, one that takes a snapshot of a zone's media player state and one that restores it, which helps return a zone to its earlier state after a temporary change such as an announcement.
