About
Channels is a built-in Home Assistant integration that provides a media player platform and talks to its target over the local network. It adds a media entity that Home Assistant can control from automations and dashboards. Three actions handle seeking: one moves backward by a set number of seconds, one moves forward by a set number of seconds, and one seeks by a number of seconds entered by the user. Because it ships with Home Assistant, nothing extra needs to be installed, and it is set up in the configuration file.
