About
AprilAire is a built-in integration that connects AprilAire thermostats and air quality controls to Home Assistant locally. It adds a thermostat as a climate entity, along with a humidifier and a dehumidifier. Select entities cover air cleaning mode and event, as well as fresh air mode and event. Sensors report the status of air cleaning, dehumidification, humidification, the fan and ventilation. Further sensors show the indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity values that the system uses for control. Setup happens in the UI by entering a host and a port, which is usually 7000 or 8000.
