About
HaCasa Nova is a room-first dashboard card and panel for Home Assistant, built on the Homio design. It is a single JavaScript file with no dependencies, so button-card, card-mod, layout-card or a theme are not required. Areas in Home Assistant become rooms, and every entity assigned to an area, directly or through its device, appears on that room's page without editing a dashboard. Configuration happens in the panel through a first-run wizard and a tabbed settings page, and settings are stored per Home Assistant user. The look uses photo backgrounds, frosted-glass cards and a pill navigation, with optional room photos taken from image files or area pictures. It can run as its own sidebar panel or as a card in a dashboard, and the README describes it as a work in progress that needs testing.

⚠️ HaCasa Nova is a work in progress and needs testing. This first release has only been run on a handful of homes, so expect rough edges: things may break or change between versions. Try it next to your current dashboard rather than replacing it, and please report what you run into. Known issues are tracked in #158.
