About
Syncthing is an app that runs continuous, de-centralized file synchronization on Home Assistant OS. Its web interface opens as its own page in the Home Assistant sidebar, and configuration is done there. Synced folders need to sit under directories mapped into the app, such as the shared or media folders, or the data is deleted when the app restarts. Syncing the backup directory is one way to copy Home Assistant backups to other Syncthing devices. The web interface can also be exposed on a network port so the Syncthing integration can monitor the app. It runs on aarch64 and amd64 and needs no special permissions.
