About
RPC Shutdown is a Home Assistant app that shuts down Windows machines remotely over the network. Each computer is defined in the app configuration with an alias, an address (IP or NetBIOS name) and login credentials. Optional settings add a delay in seconds before shutdown, so someone using the machine can save work, and a custom message shown on its screen. Shutdowns are triggered from a Home Assistant action call that sends the alias to the app through the app stdin service. The app requires Home Assistant OS, runs on aarch64 and amd64, uses the host network, and has no sidebar page.
