About

Portainer is a Home Assistant app that provides a web interface for managing Docker containers on the host. Its page opens in the Home Assistant sidebar, and it can be used to open a console in a container and run custom commands there. It needs Home Assistant OS and runs on aarch64 and amd64 systems. The app has access to the Supervisor API and to Docker, so it can control the other containers on the host. Changing the password in the app options resets its database. Adding a custom container through it can put Home Assistant into an unsupported state until that container is stopped.
