About

EMQX is an app that runs the EMQX MQTT broker locally inside Home Assistant as an alternative to the Mosquitto app. It adds a web interface for configuring, managing and debugging the broker, its clients and traffic, which opens from its own sidebar page. Most settings are handled in that interface, while an advanced option accepts environment variables for things the interface does not cover. The build uses the EMQX Community License, which covers a single node, and the app does not cluster. It needs Home Assistant OS, supports aarch64 and amd64, and uses the host network directly.
