About

deCONZ is an app that runs a Zigbee network through a ConBee or RaspBee adapter from dresden elektronik. It needs Home Assistant OS and is built for amd64 and aarch64 systems. The app opens its own page in the Home Assistant sidebar, and its web interface offers both the deCONZ GUI over VNC and the Phoscon App. The VNC view shows the Zigbee mesh, which helps when debugging network problems, and the Phoscon App can upgrade adapter firmware. Setup involves pointing the app at the adapter's device path, and Home Assistant can then discover it for the deCONZ integration. It asks for privileged Linux capabilities and can reach USB, serial and GPIO devices.
