About

EyezOn is a modernized version of the Home Assistant envisalink integration, distributed through HACS. It connects locally to Envisalink 3/4 modules for DSC and Honeywell panels, as well as Uno IP Hybrid panels, and provides alarms, binary sensors, buttons, sensors and switches. Setup runs through the UI, and the integration can be added as a custom repository in HACS. It supports several Envisalink devices, gives entities unique IDs so they can be customized in the UI, and detects the module version and panel type automatically. Zone bypass switches are available for DSC panels, and options cover partitions, zones, alarm code, panic type, keep-alive and connection timing, wireless zones and whether a code is required to arm. A repair notice appears in Settings when a mismatched MAC address is detected.

From the README

A modernized version of the Home Assistant envisalink integration.

My original intent was to submit these changes back HA core to update the aging envisalink integration. However, the scope of the changes got large which meant that the effort to them back into HA core would to be very time consuming. I don't expect to be able to commit the time required to get these changes back into HA core so this integration will unfortunately remain only available through HACS for the foreseeable future.
