About
iona-ha is a custom integration that connects an iONA Box to Home Assistant for live power and energy meter data. It polls the box over the local network and falls back to the web API when the box is unreachable or returns outdated readings. A source sensor shows whether the current meter values come from the local connection or from the web. The data can feed the Energy dashboard. An optional mode supports the dynamic tariff mein Strom Vision from enviaM, with 15-minute spot prices and a search for the cheapest time window, plus optimization tools with configurable sliders. Setup runs in the Home Assistant interface with the box address and iONA app login, and the polling intervals can be changed later in the options.
