About
Card Builder is a Home Assistant integration for designing custom dashboard cards in a visual drag-and-drop editor. It adds a full-screen editor panel where blocks from categories such as Layout, Entities, Controls, Gauges, Charts and Weather are arranged on a canvas. Finished designs appear on any dashboard through a custom card that shows live entity data. Blocks can be bound to entities, and an entity set at card level passes down to child blocks. Entity slots turn a card into a reusable template, so one design update applies to every instance. Style properties can follow entity state, and separate light and dark theme overrides are supported. It runs locally, is set up in the UI and needs the Marketplace or HACS.
