About

Kidde-HomeSafe is a Home Assistant integration for Kidde smart smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. It connects through the vendor's cloud and adds binary sensors, buttons, sensors and switches for the devices on the account. The supported list in the documentation includes smoke alarms and smoke plus carbon monoxide alarms, some with indoor air quality monitoring, along with a water leak and freeze detector. It also lists the Kidde DETECT series alarms. Setup happens in the UI with an account email and password, plus a configurable update interval in seconds. It is installed through the Marketplace, or through HACS on version 2026.10 and older.
