About

Orbit B-hyve is a Marketplace integration that connects Orbit B-hyve watering controllers and flood sensors to Home Assistant. It talks to the vendor's cloud, so the devices need internet access, and a Wi-Fi hub provides that for faucet timers and flood sensors. Valves open and close individual zones, and switches handle rain delays, saved programs and per-zone smart watering. Sensors report battery level, next watering time, flood sensor temperature and signal strength, and a select sets the device run mode between auto and off. Binary sensors cover flood detection and temperature alerts. Actions start and stop watering, set rain delays, run or update programs, and adjust the manual preset runtime and soil moisture level. Setup is done in the UI with a username and password.
