About

Gardena Smart System integration connects Gardena Smart System devices to Home Assistant through the Gardena cloud API. It adds lawn mowers, valves, switches for smart power sockets, sensors and binary sensors for online status. Mowers can start on their schedule or mow immediately for a set duration, and there are actions to park until the next task or until further notice. A mower error sensor filters informational states so automations only catch real errors. Status updates arrive over a WebSocket connection, with actions to force a reconnect and read diagnostics. It only works with WiFi devices that connect through a Gardena Smart Gateway, and setup in the UI asks for an application key and secret.
