About

Polestar API is a Home Assistant integration that reads data for a Polestar electric car through the vendor's cloud. It adds sensors for battery charge level, battery capacity, charging status, charging power, charging current, charger connection status, average speed and average energy consumption. A binary sensor shows whether the API connection is working, and an image entity shows a picture of the car. Some sensors also report API status codes and token expiry, which helps when checking the connection. The README notes that some sensors return no data on certain models, because the information is not available from Polestar. Setup runs in the Home Assistant interface and asks for the Polestar account username, password and the car's VIN.

This application is not an official app affiliated with Polestar.
N.B. There are currently several sensors that report no information for some or all models. Unfortunatly there is nothing the developers of this integration can do about this, but we do recommend you contact Polestar support and express your support for a public API for integration with Home Assistant and similar systems.
