About

Alarm.com is a custom integration that connects Home Assistant to an Alarm.com security system. It uses the Alarm.com website's unofficial API through the vendor's cloud, so it needs an Alarm.com package with security system support. It provides alarm panels, binary sensors, buttons, climate, covers, lights, locks and valves. Each sensor also gets low battery and malfunction indicators. Setup happens in the UI with a username, password and a two-factor authentication method, and options cover a security code for arming and unlocking plus arming mode profiles for away, home and night. Status updates can take several minutes, and maintenance is currently paused.
