About

Advanced Snapshot & Video is an integration that captures camera snapshots and videos with cropping and text options. It adds two actions to Home Assistant, one that takes a snapshot from a chosen camera and one that records a video, each cropping the result and saving it with optional text. Text can be placed on the left, center or right of a bar, and the bar's position, color and height can be changed. Images can also be rotated, cropped to a set area or aspect ratio, and saved to a chosen path with an optional backup copy. Folders for fonts, backups and snapshots are defined in the integration settings, which are handled in the UI, and it works locally.

Advanced Snapshot is a custom integration for Home Assistant that allows you to automatically capture snapshots from cameras and customize them with personalized texts and crop options. This integration provides additional flexibility and customization for camera images used in Home Assistant.
Capture snapshots from any camera in your Home Assistant setup.
Add custom text to the snapshots, with options for left, center, and right-aligned text.
Add a customizable bar to the snapshot (position, color, height, etc.).
Crop images before saving them.
Save snapshots to a specified path and optionally create backups.
