About
Velux Active with Netatmo is a custom integration that controls VELUX ACTIVE roof windows, roller shutters and awning blinds. It adds cover entities that open, close, stop and set positions, and receives movement updates from the VELUX cloud event stream. Roof windows also get an automatic ventilation switch, and the gateway gets a departure mode lock that blocks or allows movement. Room sensors report temperature, CO2, humidity, illuminance and air quality, and battery and connectivity diagnostics are included. Moving roof windows needs signing keys, which can be retrieved by pairing with the gateway on the local network or entered manually. Setup runs in the UI with the VELUX account email and password, and the integration depends on the vendor cloud.
