About

Tuiss Smartview is an integration that controls Tuiss SmartView blinds over Bluetooth Low Energy from Home Assistant. It provides a cover for each blind with open, close, stop and set position, plus a battery sensor, a signal strength sensor, a favorite position button and a preset selector. Options cover reconnection attempts, motor speed on supported models, upper and lower limits, a favorite position and an optional battery check interval. Timers can be added to a blind and run on the blind itself, independent of Home Assistant automations, and they share slots with the Tuiss app. Actions also allow positioning several blinds at once, saving named position presets and forcing unlock of a stuck blind. Blinds in Bluetooth range are discovered automatically, otherwise they are added in the UI by MAC address, and RF remote control is not supported.

  • Friendly name for your blind.

Name your Tuiss SmartView Blind

  • Friendly name for your blind.

After setup

  • Check for blind position on restartFetch the blinds current position following a Home Assistant restart. Useful if you use the Smartview app or a remote control.
  • Reconnection attemptsConnection attempts that will be made before timing out. Increase this if you find that you are getting dropped requests. Note: the distance between blinds and Bluetooth proxies/dongles is the main cause for connection drop-offs.
  • How fast should the blind move to position
  • Favorite PositionThe position (in percent, 0=closed, 100=open) that the blind will move to when the 'Go to Favorite Position' button is pressed.
  • Battery check interval (days)The number of days between automatic battery checks (checks are made when the blind moves). Set to 0 to disable automatic checks.
  • Configure Upper and Lower Limits
  • Delete all timers

Actions

  • Get Battery StatusRequests the battery status for the selected Tuiss blinds.
  • Get Blind PositionRequests the current position of the selected Tuiss blinds.
  • Set Blind PositionSet the position of the blind with single decimal point precision (0.0-100.0)Fields: Position
  • Set Blind SpeedSet the speed of the blind motorFields: Speed
  • Simultaneous Blind PositioningSet the position of multiple blinds simultaneously. Multiple entities must be selected for this action to work. This action should only be used if you want blinds to move at the same time and have enough Bluetooth devices to handle the number of connections you want to make (e.g., 3 connections per ESPHome proxy).Fields: Position, Blinds, Favourite Position
  • Force UnlockForce unlock a blind that is stuck in a locked stateFields: Entity
  • Add Blind TimerAdd a timer for the blind to move to a specific position on selected days at a specific time, independently of Home Assistant or any other automations you may have set up. This is useful if you want to set a recurring schedule for your blinds that is not dependent on sunrise/sunset or other triggers. Please note, this timer will run locally on the blind and the blind can support a maximum of 16 timers in total. Timers set here and on the Tuiss app will share the same available slots.Fields: Position, Days, Time
  • Delete Blind TimerDelete an existing timer from a blind. You can select the specific timer entity to remove directly.Fields: Timer Entity
  • Save Position PresetSave a named position preset for a blind. Re-using an existing name overwrites it. Stored in Home Assistant (not on the blind firmware).Fields: Blind Entity, Preset Name, Position
  • Save Current Position as PresetSave the blind's current position under a named preset. Move the blind to the desired position first — this service stores whatever position the integration last observed without asking for a percentage.Fields: Blind Entity, Preset Name
  • Delete Position PresetRemove a named position preset from a blind.Fields: Blind Entity, Preset Name
  • Apply Position PresetMove a blind to the position stored under the named preset.Fields: Blind Entity, Preset Name

From the README

This integration adds support for Tuiss SmartView blinds over Bluetooth Low Energy and provides an alternative to the Tuiss app. This integration allows you to operate one or more blinds, check battery status, set movement limits, set local timers, and control speeds. For best results, I strongly recommend using ESPHome Bluetooth proxies rather than the built-in Bluetooth adapter on Home Assistant hardware or a Raspberry Pi, as the majority of connection issues are due to poor coverage of your Bluetooth network.

This integration does not support RF control (used by the Tuiss remote); for RF control you can use a device such as the Sonoff RF Bridge.
