About

Vivint is an integration that connects a Vivint home security system to Home Assistant. It talks to the vendor's cloud and adds alarms, cameras, locks, lights, climate, covers, sensors, switches, buttons, events and update entities. Doorbell pressed and motion detected are available as device triggers, so automations can start from them directly. Camera options cover HD streaming and the choice of RTSP stream source, which can be direct, internal or external. Further options set a disarm code and allow logging of camera RTSP URLs. Setup runs in the UI with Vivint account credentials and an MFA code, and Home Assistant can discover it on the network.
