About

Bouncie is a custom integration that monitors cars through the Bouncie.com web service. It adds presence and sensor entities to Home Assistant for the tracked vehicles. Data comes from the vendor's cloud, so a Bouncie account is required. The integration polls the Bouncie REST API rather than receiving pushed updates. The polling interval defaults to 10 seconds and can be changed in the integration settings. Setup is done in the UI with application credentials created on the Bouncie developer page, namely a client ID, client secret, redirect URL and authorization code.
