About

Digitransit adds a single public transit stop in Finland to Home Assistant as a departure sensor. It uses the Digitransit API and covers Helsinki Region Transport (HSL), Waltti and other regions that Digitransit supports. A stop is found by name or stop code, and the search results show extra details such as the stop code or platform number to tell similar results apart. The sensor counts down to the next uncancelled departure, and its attributes list upcoming departures with scheduled and live times, delay, route and headsign. A short departure string is also provided for small screens. Setup runs in the UI and needs a free Digitransit API key, and the project is marked as a pre-release that supports stops but not whole stations.

From the README

This is a custom component for Home Assistant, which adds a single stop (bus or tram stop, train or metro platform) from Helsinki Region Transport (Helsingin seudun liikenne, HSL, Helsingforsregionens trafik, HRT), Waltti or another Digitransit-supported region as a Home Assistant sensor.

Search for a stop using the name or stop code. Search results will include extra details, like the stop code or platform number, which should allow you to tell them apart if there are several results.
