About
Solvis Control is an integration that connects Solvis heating controllers (SC2 and SC3) to Home Assistant over local Modbus. It adds sensors, binary sensors, numbers, selects, switches and firmware update entities for pumps, mixers, burner status, heat output and heating circuit settings. Operating modes for up to three heating circuits can be changed, and warm water priority and reheat can be switched. Optional parts such as solar thermal, heat pump, heat meter and PV2Heat can be enabled, and room temperature sensors can be set to read or write. The storage tank type can be chosen so the integration works out stored energy, and a burner power value can be entered to get a calculated burner power sensor. Polling intervals and heating circuit names are adjustable, and setup is done in the UI. SC2 devices work with limitations and need a SolvisRemote module, while older units without Modbus are not supported.

Storage type
- Storage typeThere are SolvisBen and SolvisMax stratified storage tanks. SolvisBen comes in only one size. SolvisMax is available in three sizes (457, 757, 957). Both tanks occur in different configurations that affect storage volume: solo (without heat generator), with heat pump (HP), or hybrid (gas/oil burner AND heat pump). The SolvisMax 957 can additionally be configured in three ways by sensor placement: 82/34/796, 212/34/663, and 301/34/574. In each case, the first number denotes the domestic hot water ready volume (top to S4), the second the heating buffer volume (S4 to S9), and the third the solar buffer volume (S4 to bottom). The chosen tank influences the amount of energy stored, which is determined by the integration.
- Maximum burner thermal power (optional)Optional rated thermal power of the burner. If set, the integration creates a calculated burner thermal power sensor based on burner modulation (O1).
