About

Diskspace is a Marketplace integration that reports disk space for a chosen path as a sensor in Home Assistant. It adds sensors that are configured in configuration.yaml, where a name and a mount path are given. The mount path can be looked up from the command line with the mount command. The unit of measure can be set to gigabytes, megabytes or terabytes, and any other value gives raw data in bytes. Total minus used does not equal free, which the notes attribute to an operating system limitation on both MacOS and Linux. It needs the Marketplace, or HACS on 2026.10 and older.
