About
Update Manager is a Marketplace integration that decides when pending Home Assistant updates are ready to install. It applies waiting periods that differ by update size, with optional limits to certain weekdays or times of day. Updates for Core, Supervisor, OS and device firmware are queued in an order that avoids restarts cutting off another install, and Zigbee devices on the same network are not flashed all at once. Community votes on an exact version jump can block auto-install, and a trusted voter can override the rules. Auto-install shows a cancellable countdown first, and a master switch pauses it. It adds sensors for ready, postponed, discouraged, skipped, not installable and manual-action updates, an action for compiled release notes, repair notices, and an install log. It works locally and is set up in the UI.

From the README
Updates pile up, and it's never quite obvious which ones are safe to just let happen. Update Manager watches them for you and decides when an update has actually earned your trust: it gives a fresh release time to prove itself, listens for anyone else who's already made the same jump and hit trouble, and installs everything in an order that won't leave Home Assistant restarting mid-update. Turn on auto-install and most of that becomes something you never have to think about again.
