About
Comelit SimpleHome/Vedo connects Home Assistant to Comelit Simple Home and Vedo systems over the local network. It brings lights, shutters, climate control, temperature and humidity readings, energy production and consumption, automation and alarm data into Home Assistant. The alarm sensor is also exposed as a presence detector, which allows presence-based lights and scenes. Comelit scenarios appear as scenes, which helps with features such as opening the door that the hub cannot fully reach otherwise. Setup uses an entry in the configuration file and requires the hub serial, which is taken from the hub's MAC address.
