About

Munich Public Transport is a Home Assistant integration for live departures and service messages from MVG. Each stop added becomes a station with departure sensors for the chosen lines and directions, plus disruption sensors and a count of service messages. A get departures action returns upcoming departures and service messages for a station, using data already fetched, so it makes no extra requests to MVG. The action output can feed dashboards and e-paper displays. Stations poll MVG's cloud service every minute, and entities become unavailable while MVG cannot be reached. It is set up in the interface by searching for a station and selecting lines and directions.
