About
Shinobi Video NVR is an integration that connects Home Assistant to a Shinobi Video server over the local network. It adds cameras along with binary sensors for motion and sound detection, and a status sensor for each monitor. Switches turn the motion detector and sound detector on or off, and also control whether the original stream and a proxy for recording are used. Number settings set the duration of motion events and sound events, and a select entity changes the monitor mode. Setup happens in the UI, asking for host, port, SSL, path, username and password. A diagnostics download is available to attach to bug reports.
