About

DB Info is a Home Assistant integration that shows upcoming public transport connections between two locations with live data. Origin and destination can each be a person or a zone, so a route can start from someone's current position and end at home. Each entry adds sensors, plus a button, switches and a date and time entity, all grouped under one device named after the route. Connections come from the DB Navigator service first, with EFA and Transitous as fallbacks, and times follow the Home Assistant time zone. Settings cover the means of transport, the update interval in minutes and the maximum number of transfers, and they can be changed later in the options. A global action refreshes all connections without waiting for the update interval, and the integration needs the vendor's cloud.
