About

Govee Life is a Home Assistant integration that connects Govee WiFi devices through the vendor's cloud API. It adds binary sensors, climate, fans, humidifiers, lights, selects, sensors and switches, so different Govee device types can appear on the matching platforms. Setup happens in the UI, where an account name, an API key, a poll interval for status updates and a timeout for cloud requests are entered. The same settings can be changed later in the options. Because it relies on the cloud, devices are reached through Govee's service rather than locally. It is added as a custom repository in the Marketplace, and a diagnostics download is available to attach to bug reports.
