About

HA Access Control Manager is an integration that manages user permissions and access rights inside Home Assistant. It lets administrators create groups, assign them permissions, and customize roles that limit who can interact with specific devices, automations, and dashboards. Restrictive policies only apply to users who are removed from the default Users group, since Home Assistant merges policies and that group grants broad access. A label permissions section works as a bulk-edit helper, applying read or write access to the entities currently matching a label and saving them as individual entity permissions. Options cover the tab icon, the tab name, and the path to the admin interface, and it works locally and is set up in the UI. It also exposes a helper that other Home Assistant code can call to sync dashboard visibility from saved group dashboard permissions.
