About

Greenchoice is a custom integration that connects Home Assistant to the Greenchoice API for usage and pricing data. It adds sensors for the latest daily meter readings, covering electricity consumption and feed-in by tariff, plus gas consumption. Further sensors report electricity and gas prices, including the compensation and cost for fed-in electricity. It also imports hourly electricity and gas statistics into the recorder so the Energy dashboard can show per-hour usage. A service action can force a full reimport of those hourly statistics from a chosen date, which helps fix gaps or negative spikes. It relies on the vendor's cloud, refreshes every 6 hours, and is set up in the UI with account login and a contract address.

Reimport hourly statisticsForce a full reimport of hourly electricity and gas statistics from the Greenchoice API starting from the given date up to and including yesterday.
