About

Subaru is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to MySubaru Connected Services for vehicle status and remote control. It adds sensors for fuel level, range, odometer, tire pressure, and average fuel consumption, plus EV battery level, range, and time to full charge on electric models. Binary sensors report the state of doors, hood, and tailgate, along with lock status, charging, EV plug, and vehicle health. A lock entity controls the door locks, buttons start and stop the engine remotely, and an action can unlock the driver door, all doors, or the tailgate. Setup happens in the UI with the MySubaru account details, a PIN for remote commands, and a two-factor code. An optional polling setting sends a remote command to the vehicle every 2 hours to refresh data, which draws power from the 12V battery.
