About
SMHI is a built-in Home Assistant integration that provides weather data and sensors for a chosen location in Sweden. It adds a weather entity and a set of sensors, including fire weather index, drought code, duff moisture code, fine fuel moisture code, initial spread index, and build up index. Other sensors cover frozen precipitation, fuel drying, highest grass fire risk, and high and low cloud coverage. Data comes from the vendor's cloud, so an internet connection is required. Setup happens in the UI, where a location in Sweden is picked, and the location can be reconfigured later.
