About
SIA Alarm Systems is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to alarm systems using the SIA protocol. It works locally and is set up in the UI, with no separate installation. It provides alarm and binary sensor entities for the connected systems. The connection is defined by a port, a protocol, an account ID and an optional encryption key, plus a ping interval in minutes. Additional accounts can be added on the same port, and each account gets its own number of zones. An option lets it ignore the timestamp check on incoming SIA events.
