About
HomematicIP Cloud is a built-in integration that connects Homematic IP devices to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It links a Homematic IP access point and exposes its devices as alarms, binary sensors, buttons, climate, covers, events, fans, lights, locks, sensors, sirens, switches, valves and weather. Sensors cover readings such as temperature, duty cycle, dirt level, tilt angle and rainfall, while binary sensors report cloud connection and rain. Actions allow eco mode to be activated for a set duration or until a given time, and vacation mode to be started or ended. Other actions reset an energy counter, set the active climate profile, set the heating or cooling mode for the whole home, and dump the access point configuration. Setup is done in the interface with the access point ID and a PIN code, and a diagnostics file can be downloaded for bug reports.
