About

Elk-M1 Control is a built-in integration that connects Home Assistant to an Elk-M1 security panel locally. It adds alarms, binary sensors, climate, lights, numbers, scenes, sensors, switches and times for the panel. Actions cover arming in home instant, night instant and vacation modes, bypassing or clearing bypass for an area, and showing a message on the keypads. Other actions refresh or set counters, bypass or trigger a zone, set the panel time, speak a phrase or word, and turn on an output for a set length of time. Setup happens in the UI, where the connection can be made over the network or a serial port with a username, password, protocol and temperature unit, and a prefix can be added when more than one panel is used. Home Assistant can discover the panel on the network, and a repair notice appears if a deprecated sensor is found.
