About
Axis is a built-in integration that connects Axis network devices to Home Assistant over the local network. It provides binary sensors, cameras, events, lights and switches for the connected device. Home Assistant can detect an Axis device on the network and offer to add it, and setup is done in the UI with the device's host, port, protocol, username and password. The username can belong to a user created on the Axis device just for Home Assistant, which is the recommended approach. An options step lets the video stream profile be chosen for the camera. A diagnostics download is available to attach to bug reports.
