About
Abode is a built-in integration that connects Abode security systems to Home Assistant through the vendor's cloud. It adds alarms, binary sensors, cameras, covers, lights, locks, sensors and switches from the Abode account. Three actions are included: requesting a new image capture from a camera, changing an Abode system setting, and triggering an Abode automation. Setup happens in the UI with the Abode email and password, and a six-digit MFA code is asked for when the account uses one. Home Assistant can also discover it on the network and offer to add it.
