About
Helios is a dashboard card that turns the Home Assistant Energy dashboard into a 2.5D scene of the home. It reads the Energy dashboard that is already configured and takes solar, grid, battery and tracked devices from it, so no per-card entity list is needed. The scene shows the sun's arc over the home's address, a terrain-based horizon, the moon, local weather, and animated flows for production, grid and battery. A timeline can be scrubbed from yesterday to two days ahead, or back across the week and month, and the whole scene follows it. Other parts include outdoor temperature and humidity chips, a cost chip when a price is tracked, grouped device curves, cast shadows from nearby buildings, and a wall mode that fades the controls. Live values come from real-time power sensors and curves come from recorder statistics, with no estimated values, and the card runs locally in the browser.
