About
Weather Radar Card is a dashboard card that shows animated rain radar loops from tiled imagery. Radar data comes from RainViewer, NOAA/NWS and DWD, and the map can be zoomed and panned. It adds markers, hazard overlays for US wildfires and NWS watches and warnings, real-time lightning, and a forecast nowcast from DWD. Playback speed can be adjusted, and an opt-in motion-compensated mode moves rain smoothly between frames instead of jumping. The card works with sections-grid resizing and is available in 11 languages. It is installed through the Marketplace, which is HACS on versions 2026.10 and older.
