About

Yet Another Media Player is a dashboard card for controlling several media player entities from a single card. Players are chosen with chips, and volume can be set per player or for a group, with a quick grouping mode for joining or removing players. Gestures on the artwork such as tap, double-tap, hold or swipe can trigger actions, and custom actions can call any Home Assistant action or script. It supports Music Assistant for search and queue management, and shows synced lyrics. Layout options include collapsing when idle, artwork scaling modes, and a custom background image shown when nothing is playing. The visual editor has a search bar that filters settings, and templates can drive dynamic configuration; it installs through the Marketplace.

YAMP is a full-featured Home Assistant media card for controlling multiple entities with customizable actions, music assistant support, lyrics, and various layout options.
Multi-Player Control — Switch between media players in a single card with chip-based selection. Control volume individually or as a group
Lock Screen Controls (Experimental) — Pause, skip tracks, scrub through songs, and see live album artwork right from your phone's lock screen, notification shade, or desktop media keys.
Quick Grouping Mode — Double-click any player chip to enter quick grouping mode, allowing you to quickly join or unjoin entities from the active group without opening menus.
