About

Origami Weather is a dashboard card that shows weather in Home Assistant with ready-made layouts and a builder approach. It includes six layouts, each with its own use case and style, and every part of them can be customized or combined. Content can be set up in the visual editor, either by picking a pre-built layout or building one, and the same configuration also works in yaml. Behind the content the card can draw an animated sky that follows the weather and the sun, with day and night colors, stars, shooting stars, birds, balloons and planes. The sky and individual effects can be turned off, and the card can also fall back to a plain Home Assistant style or blend into the dashboard without its own frame. It is installed through the Marketplace, or through HACS on 2026.10 and older.
