About
Energy Sankey Card is a set of dashboard cards that show electrical energy and power flow as Sankey diagrams. One card shows total energy flow over a configurable time range, such as the day so far. The other shows live power flow for a set of sensors and picks them automatically, with a card editor to correct the power entities for grid, generation, consumers and batteries. Both cards base their setup on the existing Home Assistant energy configuration and use its colour scheme. Flow width reflects the amount, and the diagram scales so no single part becomes too wide. Flows heading to consumers are coloured by the blend of locally generated and grid energy. The cards keep a coherent display when data is incomplete or physically impossible, and entities can update at different intervals.
