About

surveillance-card is a dashboard card that shows security camera feeds in a surveillance-style panel. It lists all cameras on the left and shows a large view on the right of the camera that has motion. Each camera can be linked to one or more motion entities, and the card focuses that camera when the entity turns on. Any binary sensor works for this, so a door sensor can trigger the focus as well as a motion sensor. The card can also save a single snapshot from a camera, or record a series of images for a set duration based on the update intervals. Saving images depends on the browser or device and is not available in the iOS and Android apps.
