About

Solar Bar Card is a dashboard card that shows how rooftop solar power is distributed across a home. A single color-coded bar splits power between home consumption, grid import and export, battery storage, EV charging and additional consumers such as a heat pump or pool. An adjacent battery bar shows charge and discharge flow with a state of charge indicator, and a solar forecast can come from Solcast or a custom sensor. Stats tiles adapt to the configured setup, and daily energy sensors can show the net import or export position. Labels, bar segment text, colors from six palettes and tap actions can be customized, and the interface follows the Home Assistant language from eleven supported languages. A visual editor handles most options, while custom labels with templates are set in YAML, and the card needs the Marketplace or HACS on 2026.10 and older.
