About
Met.no Nowcast is an integration that adds precipitation nowcast data from the met.no service to Home Assistant. It provides a weather entity that holds precipitation data for the next 90 minutes, with more detailed precipitation values in the forecast attribute. Data comes from the vendor's cloud, and the service is only available for locations in the Nordic area. Setup happens in the UI, where a name, latitude and longitude are entered. The precipitation data can be shown with a charting card of choice, and the README gives an example using apexcharts-card. Naming the device debug produces random precipitation values for testing.
