About

Starling Home Hub Integration connects Home Assistant to a Starling Home Hub through the Starling Developer Connect API. It talks to the hub locally and exposes devices as binary sensors, cameras, climate, covers, fans, lights, locks, selects, sensors, switches, vacuums and valves. The newer API version supports a wider range of devices, so non-Nest devices may appear as well. Camera streaming can use RTSP or WebRTC, and WebRTC is preferred where both are enabled; RTSP credentials can be left blank if no authorization is needed. Setup in the UI asks for the local Developer Connect URL and an API key, and Home Assistant can also discover the hub on the network. The project is unaffiliated with Starling and is provided without warranty.

From the README

This is a custom integration for Home Assistant for accessing the Starling Home Hub via the Starling Developer Connect API. My work is unaffiliated with Starling LLC. This is for use at your own risk. I don't provide any warranties whatsoever.

Since v2 of the Starling Home Hub API there is now more widespread support for devices, and as such this may now also include non-Nest devices. To turn devices on/off use your Starling Hub App, or disable in Home Asisstant if you want to keep access for HomeKit.
